My husband of almost 34 years and I still live on Cape Cod and have two grown kids. Our son is a budget analyst for the Social Security Administration. His wife is a physician's assistant. Our daughter is getting married this May in Bermuda! She is a social worker at Yale Child Study. Her fiance is in grad school to be a pathologist's assistant. I am the manager of an animal hospital and my husband works for the post office. Life is good. (Updated 4/26/07) 40th Reunion attendee.

Married to Pat for many years. We have a business selling toyhaulers (trailers that store bikes or whatever). We have two incredible children who I love very much. We like to travel and go to basketball games (following our team, the Suns).I run every day, as the weather is very good for that, except in the summer. But you learn to live with that (it’s a nice place to live!). I also do volunteer work with the Humane Society, trying to find homes for cats. (Updated 4/2/07) 40th Reunion attendee.

One spouse (almost 36 years), three sons (two in L. A., one in NYC), one daughter-in-law-elect (G&S The Mikado): we love her! 30 years in Maplewood; two in St. Thomas, USVI; two in Parsippany; one Ft. Lee; nine months in Boerum Hill before it was gentrified. (How's my math?) Vacation with Carin, Lois, and our families. Have volunteered, edited, written fiction and nonfiction, taught 8th grade-college: now at LHS, a wonderful place. Honored to teach with Fraida Y. and Amy Saffer, women of valor. Sad to read about those who never lived to "comb gray hair"; thankful to be on this list. See you! (Updated 3/21/08) 40th Reunion attendee.

I moved around a lot after graduation (college in Madison Wisconsin and graduate school in Boston). I've been living in Oregon for about 25 years. Most of my career has been in state government but have started two consulting companies as well. I'm currently directing a non-profit association that provides health services for low income clients. I have a great husband, two dogs and a psycho cat. I also have four stepchildren, six grandchildren and one great grandchild - how's that?!? (Updated 4/2/07) 40th Reunion attendee.

Deceased. (From Kim's sister, Leslie B. Zuckerbrot, lbz@specialtytraining.com) After graduating from LHS, Kim attended and graduated from Penn State University with a degree in General Liberal Arts. He earned his JD from The Law School at Duquesne University and then worked for many years in several Pittsburgh law firms as a personal injury attorney. Then, finding that he liked promoting harmony rather than dealing with conflicts, he entered the mediation field and formed his own successful mediation and arbitration business. Kim was wonderfully perceptive about people’s needs, and his ability to remain neutral, no matter what the dispute, produced a high rate of settlements and made his mediation services popular. He had found his professional niche and his calling in life—a career that took advantage of his considerable interpersonal insight and skills. As a mediator and arbitrator, Kim served on the Board of Governors of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section of the Federal Bar Association and was the former Chair-Elect of that nationwide Section. He also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Conflict Resolution Center International, was a Special Master judge in jury trials in state court, and was a Special Adjunct Settlement Judge with the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He was also Chair Emeritus of the Business Dispute Resolution Alliance.Kim taught more than twenty graduate courses in conflict resolution on the part-time faculty of Duquesne University. He taught private mediation training and advanced mediation training to other mediators and was often asked to serve as a guest lecturer in the fields of mediation and dispute resolution. He served as moderator in a special half-day briefing on alternative dispute resolution sponsored by the Federal Bar Association in Washington, D.C. on February 20, 2002. After earning his law degree, Kim lived in Pittsburgh his entire life. While in law school, he married Gerrian Miller, and, in 1982, their son, Joshua, was born. Around 1990, they divorced. In 1995, Kim married Lisa Ramser and became step-father to Lindsay and Rob. Kim was a sensitive, caring, very generous, and gentle man, and he and Lisa had a magical marriage. Having taught himself guitar and piano when he was younger, Kim was also a fabulous musician and composer. He recorded an audio cassette, Gifts from the Heart, and later a CD, Kim’s Greatest Hits. One of his songs was used as background music for a Saturday Night Live sketch. Kim could sit at the piano and play forever, loving every minute. In addition to his wife, Lisa, and son, Josh, Kim is survived by his mother, Elaine Elkind of Summit, NJ; a brother, Matthew of Columbia, MD; a sister, Leslie Zuckerbrot of New York City; his step-children, two nephews and a niece. Today, his son Josh, now 25, is a first-year law student at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. This photo of Josh and Kim was taken in Kim’s office several years before he became ill. Kim was always exceptionally proud of Josh and loved him intensely his whole live. You can read Kim’s New York Times obituary along with guest book entries at www.legacy.com. The guest book is still open for new entries. Help add to Kim's bio. Share your information.

After college, I pursued a career in Human Resources and was fortunate enough to enjoy a very successful and rewarding career. I retired in the end of 2005, and as much as I loved my work, I haven't looked back for a minute...I love my free time! My career in HR spanned many different industries, including manufacturing, sales, finance, academia and entertainment. I even relocated to California for 12 years with one position (great place to be single!). I returned to NJ in 1994 (following the Northridge earthquake) and met and married Richard, the most wonderful guy in the world...perfect match! I have two stepchildren. Steve is working now after having graduated from WVU in 2006, and Alisa is currently a sophomore at Penn State. Richard and I have a great life together, live in Cranford and enjoy lots of golf, lots of travel, and lots of gourmet cooking and entertaining. We have a second home in Hilton Head, SC which will be our winter home once Richard retires. I currently do volunteer hospice work - from which I feel an enormous amount of personal fulfillment. I have been blessed with a truly wonderful life. I can't wait to reconnect with all of my LHS friends...as I was once taught: "Make new friends, but keep the old. One is Silver. The other is Gold." After growing up in NJ, going to college in NY and law school in Washington, DC, I was convinced by my husband, Tom (a native of Indiana), to consider moving somewhere in the Midwest. In 1978, we both got jobs in Milwaukee, and we still live there today. It's been a great place to work and raise a family. We have two sons, Chris (27) and Jamie (25). The ironic thing is that Chris (born and bred in Milwaukee) is marrying a Jersey girl. I practiced law for many years, specializing in estate planning, and then in 2001 I moved into the non-profit world where I work for the Greater Milwaukee Foundation and help donors with charitable planning. I'm looking forward to seeing so many LHS alums at the reunion. (Updated 7/20/08) 40th Reunion attendee. |

I'm a clinical psychologist in private practice in Bellaire Tx, a small town entirely surrounded by Houston. I've been married for 34 years and have lived in Houston since I came to Rice at 18. My brother Glenn now lives 90 miles up the road and works at Texas A&M where #2 son attends school. We have 2 sons,26 and 21, and a daughter, 16 -- amazing & talented & wonderful. Mom and Dad settled in Texas also, living in a tiny resort town near San Antonio, so for 25 years we had our own private getaway!; Dad died in '99 and Mom in '01....I miss them terribly.
