I've been living in Texas now for ten years. I'm remarried to a retired pharmacist and I work at El Paso E&P in Houston as a Land Assistant. Our department leases blocks of land in the Gulf of Mexico for exploration and production and we also cover So. Louisiana. The work is interesting and my coworkers are great. Tom and I have a 35' sailboat that he likes to race (pretty successfully), and I like to meet him for the parties - although I have been known to participate. We live in a townhouse on a marina right by our boat. It's a fun lifestyle and our social life revolves around the yacht club, sailing and family. From my husband's family, we have four grandsons and one newborn granddaughter - finally! My daughter, Tracy, lives in West Orange and recently married. My son, Chris, lives here in Houston and is unattached. I'll try to make it to the reunion. I'll have to study everyone's pictures so I can semi-recognize all of you and you me. I enjoyed the tenth reunion but the 40th - how could that be?!?!

I moved to Washington, D.C. in 1975 to take a job with the National Endowment for the Arts. After a kaleidoscopic 20-year career that included stints as an arts administrator, fundraiser, diplomatic wife, secretary, church choir singer, car saleswoman, and writer/editor, I've been teaching elementary school for the past ten years. What I’ve been doing for the last 40 years: After high school I got a B.A. in studio art, married and had two children: a son, Sean, 35, an attorney, and a daughter, Anna, 31, who is currently a hairstylist and graduate student. I lived in Michigan for over 30 years, worked at a number of different things (very little art; more creative writing): substitute teaching, title examination, founded and ran a title search company….applied to law school…. got divorced. I graduated from law school when I was 48 and became a family law attorney and mediator in Michigan. I happily relocated to Maryland, @ ½ hour from downtown D.C., shortly before the 40th Reunion, with husband of nine years, Jay, also an attorney, who got a great job in D.C., and am now currently self- and sporadically-employed as a mediator and freelance writer…. finally ready for the next reunion….and would love to hear from you all (or most of you all). For the past 37 years I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Janet Perrotti Goodhand (LHS class of 1966). My career for the last 29 years has been in the field of education. We enjoy spending time at our condo on the beach in North Carolina, trips to the island of Nevis in the Caribbean, and visiting friends and family in England. On weekends we enjoy hunting for antiques and good restaurants. I visited Alan Wood in Switzerland 20+ years ago, but we have lost contact. Does anyone know where he is? After LHS i went to college in Boston... had a great time... In 1975 i helped my folks move to Coral Springs FL and never went back..i worked for US Shoes "Casual Corner" for 10 years... met my husband Gary at a July 4th party 28 years ago... we have an exceptional daughter Mackenzie who will be 21 in August... she is pursing a career in pharmacy & also teaches & models part-time.. www.cajufitness.com... Gary runs our business "Florida Courtworks" anything that pertains to tennis, basketball and sport courts... i have been working for two local water utility companies for 24 years in charge of utility billing... great job i enjoy it.. Gary loves golf.. i've had some interesting experiences... for a while we restored old Jaguars... my car is a 1985 XJS British racing green/tan interior with wire wheels... garaged since gas crunch... we also help with finding homes for retired greyhounds... we've had three... couch potatoes... my mother says hi to all the girls in her girl scout troop... looking forward to seeing you"(Updated 6/9/08) 40th Reunion attendee.

I feel like I have lived a million lives since LHS. Was a circus clown, television producer, professional dancer, actress, and traveled to over 50 countries working with the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. I’m now married to Jim Huskey, who is a diplomat, and we have two kids, Christopher and Caroline. We’ve lived in China, India, Kenya, and now live in Taiwan. We’ve lived through the Tiananmen Massacre, the bombing of the American Embassy in Nairobi, and 9/11 in Washington DC. I’m presently a writer for a magazine in Taipei, a cross cultural trainer and on the Board of Directors of Taipei American School. Amazingly, there are two people on the Board with me who are also from Livingston. Small world! (Updated 3/31/07) 40th Reunion attendee.

Editor's note: Joanne has just published an really interesting book. It's called The Unofficial Diplomat, and it's the story of her life as the wife of an American diplomat. She was in Tiannamen Square when the Chinese government attacked its own people, and she was in the basement of the US Embassy in Nairobi with her two children when Al Quaeda bombed the building.
